Message from Omaha Parks & Recreation Director

On behalf of the Parks, Recreation, and Public Property Department, I would personally like to thank you  for visiting our website and supporting Omaha Parks.

The City of Omaha strives to execute several recreational programming opportunities throughout the year and maintain the hundreds of parks within the city, while promoting a healthy lifestyle. 2016 is an exciting year for Omaha Parks, jam-packed with family friendly events, renovations, and new construction! We are proud to announce the renovations of eight parks this year, including the installation of 4+ miles of connector trails to the already existing system.

City of Omaha Parks is also delighted to declare that the Day Camps at Benson, Hummel, and Zorinsky are being offered again this year in conjunction with a new program, “Omaha Adventure.” Additionally, Elmwood Golf Course will be commemorating its 100th year, so please stay tuned to learn more about the upcoming celebrations.

We look forward to continuing to provide outstanding service by facilitating the park maintenance, recreation and golf programming, and upkeep of public property.
