Get up, get out and do something fun! Throughout the year you can find something fun, informative and healthy to enjoy at many of Omaha's parks. Browse the listings below to find a full list of all of Omaha Parks and Recreation's family-friendly special events and grand openings.   

Saturday, April 27th from 12-3pm at Mockingbird Hills Community Center
Join us for our 3rd Annual Youth Triathlon! Kids will have fun running, biking and swimming in this awesome recreational event! Each child must provide their own helmet, bike, and swimsuit.
$10 per child. Registration fee includes t-shirt, bib number, and an award. 
Registration starts March 1st! 

Saturday, May 4th from 6-8pm at Mockingbird Hills
Bring the whole family to a fun night of festive swimming!
$1 per person
Saturday, May 4th from 7:30-9pm at Hummel Park 
Bring your family to a galaxy not so far away for a fun night of activities, hikes, and star gazing suited for Jedi’s of all ages.
Friday, May 10th at Zorinsky Lake - 3808 S 156th St.
We are shaking up Spring into Summer! Join us for a two-part event that's fun for the whole family!
Free park party: 5:30-7:30pm
Bring the family out for a fun night of bounce houses, s’mores, canoeing, archery, rock wall, DJ and more! Be one of the first 100 people to receive a free Kona shaved ice! Food trucks will be present for food and beverage purchase during this time.
Free park concert ft. Taxi Driver: 7:30-9:30pm
Stay a little later to dance and sing along with one of Omaha’s best cover bands, Taxi Driver! Alcoholic beverages and food will be available for purchase during this time. Free giveaways, raffles, and more!

Friday, May 10, from 12-3pm at Adams Park Community Center

Thursday, June 13th from 6-8pm at Elmwood Park Pavilion

Come join us for a night of music and dancing! Enjoy music you grew up with from the Big Band Era and other music from the 40’s to 60’s.
Refreshments will be served.
