Omaha is home to more than 250 parks which encompass 11,000 acres of parkland. Parks help to create a sense of community by bringing neighborhoods together. Relax, play, exercise, or just take in a little fresh air and enjoy nature. Check out some of Omaha’s parks that have undergone major improvements in 2019, like the Flanagan Lake playground, Dewey Dog Park, or the various new amenities at Miller Park! Below are some projects set to begin in 2020.
