Pencil in FUN on your Calendar!  Join us for these Special Events!

  • Get your groove on at the pool with a dance party!  With a live DJ and fun activities, it's the best way to dance, swim, and have FUN with your friends!  Regular pool admission fee applies.

  • Enjoy our outdoor floating inflatable every Wednesday this summer at Lee Valley Pool.   Perfect for Kid's play date or family time.  Every Wednesday 1:00-5:00 pm (June 10th - July 29th)  Weather permitting.
  • Come try out log rolling every Thursday this summer at Hanscom Pool. Bring friends and see who can last the longest on our Key Log. Every Thursday 6:00-8:00 pm (June 11th - July 30th)  Weather permitting. The fee is $1 per person. The age requirement is 9+ and ages 6-8 years with an adult. Proper swim attire must be worn. 

  • Your dad is 1 in a million! Celebrate your dad with a fun day at the pool! Dads get in FREE with one paid child admission. Offer available at all Omaha Pools. Weather permitting. 

  • Kick-off your 4th of July celebrations with some fun in the sun at a city pool near you! $1.00 admission per person. Weather permitting. All pools will close at 5:00pm 

  • Let's help fill the Little Pantry at Sherman Community Center's pantry. Bring 2 non-perishable food items for one free admission to any city pool. It's a great way to give a little and get a little in return. Weather permitting. 

  • Mom is the bomb! Celebrate your awesome mom at any city pool! Moms get in FREE with one paid child admission. Offer available at all Omaha Pools. Weather permitting. 

  • Join us for our annual doggie dip Sunday, August 9th, 5:30 - 7:00 pm. All local dogs are invited for a full-filled dip in the pool to close out the summer season! The City of Omaha and Nebraska Humane Society have teamed up for this fun event for our four-legged friends! $5 per dog and includes two humans. Weather permitting. 

  • Josh the Otter
    Be safe and have fun at the pool, come meet Josh the Baby Otter and learn his safety message; to always swim with a buddy and to never go near water unless you are with an adult. 

    Hands-only CPR
    If you were in a situation where someone needed CPR would you know what to do? Let us help you be prepared, learn Hands-Only CPR from the City of Omaha Parks and Recreation Department. Hands-Only CPR is a potentially lifesaving technique involving non-mouth to mouth contact.  Free sessions will be conducted at various City of Omaha pool locations during the pool season
